The medallion is made from Nickel Silver, and is housed in its original plush lined case, the white silk of which is now showing some foxing.

ALSO included is the Original issue by the Manchester Evening News entitled
"The Iron Horses"
which is a record of the actual event, and not an advert for it. Its 32 pages (about the same size as the "Sun" Mirror" etc.,) are full of photos (Colour & Black/White) and articles about the three day celebration.

ALSO included are 20 original colour photographs taken of some of the entrants as they passed along the parade route.
