Superb medallion in gEF condition showing the facade of the 1901 Glasgow Exhibition centre. The Reverse has the coat of Arms of the City of Glasgow with the legend "LET GLASGOW FLOURISH" and the issuers initials -"J.W.L." This must have been one of the last works ever produced by the famous engraver Ludwig Lauer - who's signature "LAUER" is on the obverse.
