Obverse:This depicts 'the rolling wheel of history' with a rocket, and high rise buildings in the background. Legend (in Chinese) 'the People's Republic of China' with the year '2000'.
Reverse:A symbolic pattern of '2000' - the '2' made with a ribbon, the next two zeros as the eye and its cornea, with the last zero as the earth. Legend (in Chinese) 'Greeting the New Century', and below '10 Yuan'.
