Jeton - Soc Gen Credit Ind et Commercial
A nice banking jeton issued sometime after 1880
Obverse:- A woman classically dress holding papers in her right hand her left resting on a plinth. On the plinth is a column with a snake coiled around it and with a lit oil-lamp on top. Also on the plinth are sacks of money with one having fallen on the floor. In the background are a three-masted ship, a lighthouse and smoking industrial chimneys.
Reverse:- A wreath with legend outside and date inside
