Each cheque bears the phrase "Non Transferable" (in 4 languages) and these are for the use of Italian Nationals travelling abroad. These phrases are sideways on at the extreme left of the cheque. The other type are for general issue to visitors to Italy, and do not bear the phrase. All cheques are watermarked with "Banco de Napoli" and a coat of Arms.The serial number 410000000 for the first - lowest value - up to 440000000 for the highest value and the second type are numbered 510000000 to 540000000 respectively. All are overprinted "SPECIMEN" in red - All EIGHT cheques are mounted in the official eight page booklet dated March 1977. Another 6 page booklet is included giving further information on the cheque encashment with reduced size PRINTED images of the latter 4 items. |

Watermarked with the bank logo, and with four punch cancels on each cheque. The dollar cheque states that it is payable "In United States", The other "In Japan". The reverse has an image of the Bank head office, and the value.- Both bear serial number 0000 000 000 and are printed "SPECIMEN" in the centre. - Both cheques are mounted in the official three page fold-out booklet - There is also a separate printed letter advising of the impending issue of a new US$500 travellers cheque from August 1974.
